Our primary focus is on providing comprehensive reading and writing support for children from pre-kindergarten to first grade. We believe in the power of personal growth and aim to inspire students to continuously improve their skills and intelligence through persistence and hard work. Our services include direct educational support, community engagement, and mental health advocacy for children.

Keara Williams is a creator and storyteller who is passionate about positively shaping the lives of youth in her community through writing. While working as a Pre-K Teacher’s Assistant after undergraduate, she quickly discovered her love for nurturing and inspiring children mentally and emotionally. She witnessed firsthand the power of mentorship coupled with education inside and outside of the classroom.
Keara began seeking opportunities to reach children in non-conventional ways, leading her to begin writing children’s books. Through her writing, she tells stories that encourage her readers to tap into their inner strengths and values as they seek to achieve their goals and prepare for many of life’s challenges. Her primary objective as an author is to cultivate a sense of empowerment through words while instilling self-confidence in every reader.
Keara is the founder of Believing In My Growth (B.I.M.G), LLC, which has the motto “Empowering Youth For A Better Tomorrow.” B.I.M.G aims to improve student cognition and emotional development, foster strong leadership capability, and enhance comprehension skills.In addition to being an author and entrepreneur, she has used her expertise to serve as a children’s fashion designer and hair and makeup artist.
Keara received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bowie State University. Her hobbies are journaling, creative directing, and sightseeing.
I have provided psychotherapy and a variety of therapeutic services for approximately 17 years. I specialize in behavior interventions, behavior modification, anger management, and family services for both individual and group therapy. I have facilitated Parenting Journey, Parenting in Transition (PIT), Anger Management, and the Art of Parenting (AOP) therapeutic groups.
I utilize a strength-based approach and trauma-informed care as part of evaluation and treatment for my clients. I am formally trained in suicide assessment and prevention, and I have extensive experience in promoting the safety and wellbeing of families through community networking. I am also fluent in both English & Spanish and I am a
advocate for the LGBTA+ Community.
After migrating from the Dominican Republic, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Education from Lehman College. I have also attained a Master Degree in Social Work with a specialization in trauma within the child welfare system from Hunter College – Silberman School of Social Work. I hold licensures in New York, Maryland, and Washington DC.
